NEWS. APRIL 2010
Hello there.
Welcome to my web site for Camera Centre. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I hope to expand and update the pages over the next few months. So please keep looking.
I have obtained many cine films recently and have been listing them on our Ebay pages. (See camcentre) There will be several 9.5mm ones to come and some books on the cinema and film collecting. If cine is your thing, hopefully you will find something of interest.
The film single lens reflexes are in great demand for college courses and of course for Photographers who still enjoy darkroom work.
Digital cameras are now more popular than film, I stock Fuji, Olympus, Pentax, Praktica and Ricoh as main lines and some items from General Electric and Sony. for compact cameras, with Nikon, Olympus & Pentax for Single Lens Reflexes.
The Gramophone list must really be regarded as a guide as I just have not had a chance to sort this out. If you are interested in Buying, selling or repair please ring.
I have a Kodak Kiosk here for digital prints so can print up to 12 x 8 inches on the premesis. You can always email files to me or send a CD and I will post the pictures back to you.
Just a reminder that I can transfer VHS to DVD-R, digital 8, Video 8mm and Mini DV to DVD-R. These are usually done 'in house'.
DVD+R have to go away to our lab. I only handle 'non commercial' recordings.
The Professional lab I use can also transfer original film to tape or DVD for you.
I am happy to accept orders by post but please check for a quote first.
My engineer can repair most film cameras and lenses, subject to spares being available, digital cameras are rarely worthwhile due to the high cost of parts.
If you need a spare projector lamp, rubber drive belt or a classic camera please visit my Internet shop, I am constantly adding lines, so if you do not see what you need, please ask. In the shop you can look at photographs of some of my stock and if you wish, buy on-line.
Please note that the shop is in addition to our regular stock lists.

Hailsham Photographic Society has a new website, please have a look.
http://www.hailshamphotographicsociety.co.uk
Computers can be built to your special requirements, please contact James Girling for details. Please see our new stock pages for more details.
If you wish to order anything, please check that it is still available. I do have a 'secure server', (you will see a little padlock in the corner of the page containing my order form so you can order) and can pay safely on-line and your card details will be scrambled so that only I can understand them, just click on or cut and paste this link for the form: http://www.camcentre.co.uk/osc/secure/.
If there is anything you are not certain about, do email us. robert@camcentre.co.uk.
My prices for new items may not be the cheapest but I do try my hardest to offer the best service around.
Thank you again for looking
